Job Description

The Trade Marketing Management (TMM) for the SHA & Kitchen category is responsible for translating brand strategies into winning execution at the Point of Sale (POS). The primary objective is to drive market share, optimize brand visibility, and enhance the shopper journey through strategic activation and effective budget management, ensuring Toshiba remains the preferred choice in the kitchen and small appliance segments.


Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

✓ Develop and implement the annual Trade Marketing strategy for the SHA & Kitchen category, aligned with Brand Marketing objectives and Sales targets.

✓ Analyze market trends, shopper behavior, and competitor activities to propose effective category segmentation, pricing strategies, and promotional mechanics.

✓ Define the “Picture of Success” (Standard of Excellence) across distribution channels, including General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Key Retailers, and E-commerce.

2. Cross-functional Execution

✓ Lead the execution of trade marketing plans in collaboration with internal teams (Display, POSM, Activation, Training).

✓ Work closely with the Sales team to ensure consistent and high-quality execution nationwide across all retail partners.

✓ Manage the development and allocation of category-specific premiums and POSM to maximize in-store visibility and impact.

3. Operation & Performance Evaluation

✓ Oversee end-to-end execution of trade promotions, product launches, and in-store activations.

✓ Manage and optimize the Trade Marketing budget (A&P) to ensure high ROI and cost efficiency.

✓ Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks; conduct post-campaign evaluations and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
