We are building a financial technology platform that processes USDT-to-fiat transactions, combining blockchain infrastructure with traditional payment rails.

Our current stack:

• PHP 8.3 (Laravel)

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who will take ownership of the technical architecture, improve system reliability, and build a high-performing engineering team.

This is a key leadership role with direct impact on the product and long-term technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and system design
• Ensure high reliability of financial transaction processing
• Design fault-tolerant and scalable systems
• Implement best practices for:
  
  • idempotency
  • transactional consistency
  • event-driven workflows
  • audit logging
• Improve security posture (API protection, fraud prevention basics, safe integrations)
• Introduce engineering processes (code review, CI/CD, standards)
• Plan technical roadmap
• Hire and mentor developers
• Work closely with the founder on strategic technical decisions

Your Skills and Experience

Strong Backend Expertise

• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Deep knowledge of PHP 8+ and Laravel
• Experience designing RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of:
  
  • database transactions
  • race conditions
  • concurrency
  • locking strategies
  • performance optimization

Architecture & Systems Thinking

• Experience designing scalable systems
• Understanding of:
  
  • event-driven architecture
  • distributed systems basics
  • retry mechanisms
  • circuit breaker patterns
  • observability and monitoring

FinTech / Crypto Experience (Strongly Preferred)

• Experience with payment systems or financial platforms
• Understanding of blockchain transaction lifecycle
• Familiarity with USDT (ERC20 / TRC20) or similar tokens
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling webhooks safely

DevOps Awareness

• Docker experience
• CI/CD understanding
• Basic infrastructure knowledge (Nginx, queues, caching)

Leadership Expectations

• Ability to build and scale an engineering team
• Conduct technical interviews
• Establish development standards
• Own technical decisions
• Think long-term, not just tactical fixes
• Stay calm under pressure (financial systems require stability)
