Job Summary:

The SOME/IP Protocol Engineer will be responsible for the planning, deployment, and maintenance of the Scalable service-Oriented MiddlewarE over IP protocol stack, a critical component of our autonomous driving system. This role involves designing network topologies, developing toolchains, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and mass production.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deploy the SOME/IP protocol stack, including core functions such as service discovery, remote procedure call, and event notification.

Design and propose robust network topology solutions based on SOME/IP technology to enhance communication efficiency and scalability within the autonomous driving system.

Participate in the development and maintenance of a toolchain supporting the SOME/IP protocol.

Collaborate closely with hardware and algorithm teams to facilitate the successful mass production application of the protocol stack.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SOME/IP communication and integration.

Contribute to the documentation of the SOME/IP implementation and network architecture.

Your Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience:

Must-Have:

Strong understanding of the SOME/IP protocol and its underlying concepts.

Experience with network protocol design and implementation.

Proficiency in C++ programming.

Experience with Linux-based systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good-to-Have:

Experience with automotive networking technologies (e.g., Ethernet, CAN).

Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture.

Experience with robotics or autonomous driving systems.

Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
