Job Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and onboarding high-quality talent across multiple business functions, including Technology, Business, and Back Office divisions, to support VPS’s long-term growth strategy.
In addition, this role contributes to the development and execution of Employer Branding initiatives, enhancing VPS’s position as an employer of choice in the financial services and technology market.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Talent Acquisition (70%)
• Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment activities for diverse positions across Technology, Business, and Back Office functions (e.g. Software Engineers, Data/AI, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Product, Cybersecurity, Finance, Accounting, Risk, Compliance, HR, Operations, Customer Service, etc.).
• Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Department Heads to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and competency frameworks across different business units.
• Proactively source candidates through multiple channels: LinkedIn, professional communities, job portals, employee referrals, internal databases, and headhunting when required.
• Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, and coordinate with stakeholders throughout technical/functional interview rounds and candidate assessments.
• Act as a recruitment consultant by providing insights on talent market trends, salary benchmarks, competitor hiring practices, and effective hiring strategies.
• Negotiate compensation packages, manage offer processes, and closely follow up on pre-onboarding and onboarding activities.
• Maintain and update recruitment data on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
• Track, analyze, and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rate.
B. Employer Branding (30%)
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Employer Branding strategies, especially for IT and technology talent.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Communications teams to create Employer Branding content, including:
- Recruitment posts and job advertisements
- Employee stories and culture-related content
- Content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and the career website
• Participate in organizing and executing Employer Branding activities such as:
- Career fairs, campus recruitment programs
- Tech events, webinars, meetups, and hackathons
- Employee referral and community engagement programs
• Propose and implement initiatives to strengthen VPS’s employer brand awareness in the IT, fintech, and financial services talent market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with exposure to recruiting across multiple functions (Technology, Business, and/or Back Office roles).
• Candidates with experience in financial services, banking, securities firms, fintech, or large-scale organizations are preferred.
• Good understanding of the talent market across both technical and corporate functions.
• Experience in Employer Branding activities is a strong advantage.
• Strong sourcing and headhunting skills via LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
• Excellent interviewing, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, result-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple vacancies under high recruitment pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in content creation or working closely with marketing teams is an advantage.
• High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and integrity, suitable for a financial–securities environment.
