Job Summary
In this role, you will be the main product operator responsible for Demand and Supply Planning, managing the product flow from HQ manufacturing plants to local counters across all sales channels (OBS/e-Commerce). This position combines strategic inventory planning and operational execution to ensure smooth product availability, accurate forecasting, and inventory management.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Supply Planning
1.1. Product Strategy
Establishment of SKU portfolio considering HQ and local operation direction.
Sales analysis and inventory health indicator report and management for product operation status (Fast / Slow Moving Stocks by SKU Level)
1.2 Product Operation
Forecast the supply and demand for sales quantities to prevent out of stock at SKU-level
Place orders to HQ for stock replenishment (weekly/bi-weekly)
Support customs clearance and product registration
Conduct due diligence on the warehouse/store stocks
Demand Planning aligned with HQ and product demand forecasting and SKU management(SKU IN&OUT)
2. Demand Planning, Inventory & Distribution Management
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to do short- and long-term inventory strategy for all sales channels (OBS/e-Commerce/MBS).
Highly data-driven in identifying demand shifts based on seasonality, trends and competitive promotional strategy. Review and evaluate forecast accuracy to validate and refine forecast models.
Inventory and distribution planning at SKU level, using industry best practice methodology along with trade marketing and promotional plans.
Maintain SCM master data on SAP. Track existing product performance and propose SKU assortment for each sale channel.
Process replenishment orders (STO) and sales orders (SO) on ERP system and keep control of on time delivery to customers.
Support on proceeding FOC orders and managing testers at counters.
Monitor and process return orders (R-STO/R-SO) from various sale channels, handle shortage/damaged goods if any.
Manage and implement a good system for tracking all inbound/outbound/ transfer transactions to ensure inventory accuracy. Conduct stock-taking, investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to synchronize inventories between system and physical stock.
Coordinate and participate in the monthly shipping/logistics activities as per schedule at Warehouse between all sales channels.
Follow up local PO status, delivery schedule and allocation plan. Create PO and invoice to manage inventory.
Prepare, analyze the month-end data and do inventory reports. Prepare a monthly report for inventory related issues. Assure closing time monthly.
Perform other duties assigned by SCM Manager
Qualification and experience:
At least 4 years of related experience in operations, inventory planning, demand and supply forecasting, or business analytic; preferably in cosmetics or FMCG industry.
Sound understanding of order-to-cash process in retail and e-Commerce industry.
In depth knowledge of SOP and inventory management. Prior experience in handling high volume of SKU is a plus.
Experience in solving the problems related to local logistics, import customs clearance.
Experience in Placing an import order to HQ and managing warehouse/store stocks
Experience in managing inventory turn-over rate as a KPI / selecting and treating slow-moving SKU
Preference will be given to those with experience in working with distributors and establishing product sales strategies.
Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
Degree holder of Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations Management, Economics or relevant disciplines.
