Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee architectural documentation from Design Development through Construction Documentation stages
• Take ownership of documentation quality, coordination, and compliance across all assigned projects
• Ensure all documentation strictly complies with Australian codes, standards, and practice requirements
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and workflows in line with the Australian practice
• Work within and build upon established documentation systems and workflows
• Lead cross-border coordination with Australian project teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely decision-making
• Build strong working relationships across the practice, acting as a key point of contact for documentation coordination
• Review and manage drawing outputs, detailing, and BIM models to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks
• Drive efficiency, consistency, and delivery speed of documentation, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple countries and time zones
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in documentation, detailing, and coordination
• Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and proactively manage documentation challenges
• Support improvement of BIM and documentation workflows to enhance delivery efficiency and coordination
• Communicate clearly and confidently in English across all coordination meetings, reviews, and reporting

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
• 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on documentation and delivery leadership
• Proven experience leading and taking responsibility for large-scale documentation packages and multidisciplinary coordination
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, building systems, and technical coordination. Previous working experience for Australian practices in delivery of class 2 buildings is preferable.
• Proficiency in Archicad (preferred) or Revit, with solid BIM coordination experience
• Solid understanding of Australian standards, codes, and documentation practices
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence teams across locations
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence working directly within an international practice (English required)
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, managing competing deadlines and complex coordination challenges
• Ability to adapt to established processes, listen, and build trust before driving change
• Ability to identify issues, provide clear recommendations, and confidently communicate technical decisions
• Results-driven, with accountability for documentation quality, coordination outcomes, and delivery performance
• Ability to lead while remaining hands-on in documentation delivery, providing technical guidance where required
