Job Description

I. SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Role service scope: Exotic Voyages in Vietnam

Strategic or operational level: Functional Leader


II. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Manage, coach and supervise the Sales Department to ensure the operation of the Sales Department in a consistent and effective way

Be responsible for achieving sales goals

Be responsible for business development of sales department


III. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY / DUTIES

1. Main tasks

Manage, coach and supervise the Sales Department:

• Create and implement appropriate performance indicators, common procedures and tools for the Sales Department

• Recruit, build and nurture the sales team

• Ensure that all sales perform their tasks according to EV standards and expectations

• Consult and give advice to team when they have difficulties with the clients (complain production, relationship…), in management of the team, collaboration with other department…

• Evaluate the performances of Sales Team on a regular basis. Train, mentor, coach and keep them motivated

Achieving sales goals:

• Work with each team member to set their sales goals & targets.

• Analyze data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps and ensure the team’s overall target is met.

• Co-ordinate with marketing team to develop lead generation plans.

• Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.

Business development & profitability

• Complete strategic works for the year following the sales target procedure

• Follow up with the team on the yearly Market Strategy & implementation of yearly Market Strategy

• Conduct annual assessment

+ Do year-end and regular assessment with all members of Sales team.

+ Analyze and report the sales team’s assessment to COO

Training & mentoring

• Work on the training plan & inspection of sales department

• Supervise the implementation of sales training plan & inspection of sales department

Work with other departments

• Coordinate with Head of Production, Operation, Marketing, Accounting, Contracting to figure out best solutions to reach better efficiency at work

• Support and coordinate with other departments to encourage synergies and maintain the collaboration with relevant departments in carrying out processes, and find out what factors need to change in a timely manner

Weekly tasks

• Review the sales result weekly

2. Other tasks

• Facilitate communication between the Sales Department and other offices in all destinations (explain information to both sides and clarify unclear emails)

- Fluent in English

- Strong knowledge of clients & market

- Good leadership and management skills

- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and strong decision-making skills

- Knowledge of destination & product

- Good reporting skill

- Good presentation skills

- Strong communication skills

- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

- Characteristics: good team spirit, ambitious & hungry for success, demanding, positive attitude, open-minded, honest, active and decisive, curious.

2. Education

University: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a Foreign Language, Hotel & Tourism Management or other related majors

3. Experience

At least three years of experience in the same position (For a Sales Manager)
