Job Description
Task Post Contract QS Job Responsibility:
• Develop material lists and procurement plans, issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and draft subcontract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BQ) and defined Scopes of Work
• Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations, conduct technical clarifications and commercial negotiations, and prepare detailed Cost Comparison Sheets for management review.
• Liaise with the factory and suppliers/subcontractors to source, label, and submit material samples for Client or Designer approval.
• Liaise closely with the Procurement Team to facilitate material purchases, ensuring Purchase Orders (POs) align with project budgets, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor design revisions and proactively prepare Variation Orders (VOs) for management review prior to submission to the Employer.
• Perform checking and accurate quantity take-offs from construction drawings for assigned work packages.
• Coordinate with site teams to verify physical progress and prepare Interim Payment Claims to Client and Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) of suppliers/subcontractors of the assigned packages.
• Attending company's internal coordination meetings from time to time.
• Represent the Commercial department in attending project meetings and provide support as required by management
• Execute additional QS tasks or ad-hoc support as assigned by the management team.
Task Tender QS Job Responsibility:
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope of work, discrepancies, potential risks, or ambiguities.
• Conduct measurements and quantity take-offs to establish the Bill of Quantities (BQ) and Material Lists for the project scope.
• Issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to consutlants to resolve queries and gathering sufficient tender information for accurate pricing.
• Calling and compile quotations from the suppliers/ subcontractors, checking and ensuring all prices and terms align strictly with tender requirements and provide support to the Costing Department.
• Attending site visit, tender meetings, tender interviews and clarification meeting in the bidding process.
• Compile, review, and finalize the commercial submission package to ensure correct presentation and timely submission.
• Execute additional QS tasks or ad-hoc support as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as ID QS
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
• Proficiency in English
• Sex: male
• Age: from 25- 40 years old
