QA ENGINEER

Your role & responsibilities

• Perform automation, regression, and manual testing to ensure software quality;
• Drive and document test plans, design test cases, and conduct manual testing for various data sources and vendors across the platform;
• Drive quality efforts on the team, and oversee bug tracking, test prioritization, and release;
• Influence quality by reviewing the requirements, behavior specifications, and working with product management to begin test development early and uncover risks prior to implementation;
• Liaise with the broader engineering and QA teams on the west coast to raise the bar on quality testing of the integration of data sources and vendors with customers’platform.
• Perform API tests with Postman & SoapUI.

Your skills & qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• At least 1 year hands on experience in developing automated tests using test automation frameworks at the API level;
• Worked on a Scrum/ Agile automation team is a plus;
• Proven experience in at least one of the scripting or programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar;
• Solid technical understanding of SaaS, REST APIs, and Web applications;
• Experience in supporting the delivery of quality products within agile teams, using cutting edge technology (Postman, Selenium, etc).

Working time:

• 48 hours/week;
• From Monday to Friday: 9:00AM to 5:30PM
