The Job
We are looking for an exceptional Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team in HCMC. As a premium-tier role for candidates with 2-3 years of solid Odoo experience, we expect high-impact performance, a deep understanding of core business flows, and fluent English communication. You will work with the latest Odoo ecosystem (including Odoo 19), champion a "Standard-first" implementation methodology, and be on a fast track to becoming a Solution Architect.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope & Requirement Analysis: Analyze client business processes, perform gap analysis, and design solutions that prioritize out-of-the-box Odoo features over unnecessary custom development.
- Project Documentation: Produce high-quality Functional Specifications (FS), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and process flowcharts.
- End-to-End Delivery: Accompany customers through the full implementation lifecycle, from initial software configuration to successful Go-live.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous internal testing on all configurations and developments before releasing them for client UAT.
- Presales & Consulting: Support the sales team by building and presenting tailored Odoo demos for prospective clients.
- Training & Support: Create clear user manuals, deliver engaging end-user training, and troubleshoot post-go-live Odoo issues.
- Project & Team Execution: Independently manage the timeline, scope, and budget of small-sized projects while assisting Project Managers on larger enterprise rollouts.
- Mentorship: Act as a buddy and mentor to junior consultants, actively sharing knowledge and coaching them on best practices.
- Communication: Prepare professional presentation slides and accurate Minutes of Meeting (MoM) in English.
- Experience: 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-cycle Odoo ERP implementations.
- Education: BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or Management (A Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Odoo Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of core Odoo modules (e.g., Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Sales/Purchase).
- Mindset: Passionate about staying updated on the latest Odoo releases (Odoo 18/19) and advocating for clean, standard solutions.
- Certifications: Official Odoo Certification (v16, v17, or v18) is highly preferred and expected for this compensation tier.
- Language Skills: Native/Fluent in Vietnamese with excellent and highly proficient English (both written and spoken) for professional client-facing documentation and presentations.
- Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and confidence in client-facing scenarios.
- Legal: Must have valid work authorization in Vietnam.
