In your role as a Technical expert in D365 Business Central, you supervise the D365 BC development activities within the development center. You are responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. You coach and support your local colleagues and collaborate with the Swiss team of functional and technical consultants who are in relationship with customers. You also develop interfaces and features for our Swiss projects, based on gaps identified during customer analysis.

Your responsibilities

• You collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to transform solution designs into technical specifications
• You supervise and coach the technical activities in the center around D365 BC. You ensure application of guidelines and development quality. You conduct regular code and architecture reviews on the projects. 
• You design and implement integrations between D365 Business Central and other enterprise systems
• You develop interfaces to and from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• You customize and extend Dynamics 365 Business Central
• You integrate third-party applications and services
• You diagnose and resolve technical issues in close collaboration with functional consultants and if needed with customers, ensuring timely resolution
• You manage source code and application lifecycle using Azure DevOps, including repositories, builds, pipelines, and automation
• You deliver and deploy implemented solutions. Perform system upgrades and apply patches as needed

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong knowledge of data structures and relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of Power Platform, .NET development, and integration technologies 
• Experience with automated testing and test automation tools for Business Central is an advantage
• Fluent in English
