MEP Manager

Scope of Position

Manage all aspects related to MEP designs of 2 projects:

1. A mixed-use, mid-end complex in Binh Duong Province, which comprises of a high-rise condominium, high-rise hotel and a commercial podium; and

2. An ultra-luxury, beachfront resort including second-home villas - an “integrated destination development” in Ho Tram, Ba Ria Province

Key stakeholders affecting designs would be relevant regulations, the hotel operators, the owner, budget, and site conditions

Position Responsibilities

The role of MEP Senior Manager requires strong leadership to actively manage and drive consultants, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all MEP-related consultants and stakeholders to ensure design delivery is timely, well-coordinated, and aligned with operator and project requirements.

2. Ensure all drawings are fully coordinated.

3. Lead and manage all MEP consultants to ensure timely and quality delivery of design package

4. Drive coordination meetings and ensure clear action tracking and closure

5. Proactively push consultants to meet submission deadlines and resolve design issues

6. Challenge and review consultant outputs to ensure compliance with project requirements, budget, and constructability.

7. Proven ability to lead and manage consultants, not just coordinate

8. Experience in driving design progress and holding consultants accountable to deadlines

9. Strong ability to push, challenge, and align multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment

10. Assist the Project Director to issue all MEP-related design approvals.

11. Assist QS team in value engineering exercises and technical discussions during MEP-related tenders.

12. Collaborate with site teams to identify design-related issues during construction process and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve.

13. Assist site teams in setting MEP-related inspection procedures.

14. Join technical meetings with contractors to resolve MEP-related technical issues during construction process, as needs arise.

15. Proven hands-on experience in authority submissions (including Basic Design, Technical Design, PCCC, and related approvals), with a clear understanding of local approval processes

16. Strong experience in construction administration, including shop drawing review, site coordination, technical issue resolution, and contractor management

Location

MERAKI LAND Co., Ltd. office is located at 34 Le Duan Street, Ho Chi Minh City

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, with public holidays and Tet holidays off in accordance with state regulations.

Note: Holiday bonuses, Tet (Lunar New Year) bonuses, 13th month salary holidays Regular annual salary increases or increases according to company policy

Job requirements

- Educational Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in MEP fields

- Working Experience: 8+ years experience in MEP, Design, Project or Construction Management.
