Job Description
As a CBRE Electrical system engineer, you will provide design and engineering support for Electrical power System and infrastructure projects.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing maintenance work (AM, CM, PM, PdM, etc.), repair machines/equipment/components of system, propose solutions/moidification/upgrading system in order improving safety, reliability & energy efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Take overall responsibility in managing and performing/executing the Maintenance Work for Electrcial power system, included in:
(1) asset & spare part management.
(2) detail maintenance plan/schedule.
(3) develop & control all supporting documents for maintenance (Detail maintenance Job Plan, etc.).
(4) arrange resources for carrying out maintenance tasks.
(5) Opex & other KPI of maintenance management as well.
- Lead engineering team in investigating/troubleshooting & correcting all matters/issues which related to electrical power system
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Prepare conceptual and feasibility studies/report, cost estimation, basic/conceptual design drawings & datasheet calculations; construction timeline/schedule estimation to all applicable codes, specification/standards/regulations, governmental agency, energy efficiency, system reliabilaties, and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee electrical-focused projects and design tasks on large, electrical, and non-electrical projects. This includes industrial facility power distribution, motor control and coordination, and lightning, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Recommend safety improvements and adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to power, energy, and infrastructure projects.
- Assist with project scheduling and help to monitor project budget and timeline.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of their own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Lead maintenance team in preparation & presentation all matters of Electrical Power System among meeting with stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's or master’s in engineering (electrical & electronics; mechatronics; etc.) with at least 4 ~ 5 years’ experience (or job-related experience) in operation & maintenance/design, construction for Electrical Power System (Medium Voltage_MV; Low Voltage_LV) in industrial factories or relevant.
- Familiar with local/international standards, regulations which are related to the Electrical Power System system (included in (1) MV system & (2) LV system).
- Have licenses/certificates issued by Authorities in operation & maintenance; supervision/maangement Electrical Powe System (included in (1) MV system; (2) LV system).
Software:
(1) Engineering (CAD; BIM; etc.) – advanced
(2) Offices (included in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
(3) Project management (e.g: MS project)
- Soft skills:
(1) Organization, communication; presentation & planning – advanced
(2) Analysis & solving problem in investigation, troubleshooting, correcting issues – advanced
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Ability in working with high pressure & multitaskings.
