We are seeking a QC / QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing to ensure the quality and stability of our products, including mobile applications (iOS & Android), CMS, and community web platforms. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and the QC team throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver reliable and high-quality releases.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing for ExoTrails products, including mobile applications (iOS & Android), CMS, and community web platforms
- Review and understand product requirements, designs, and user stories (with guidance) to define test scope
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements
- Conduct functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing - Log, track, and verify defects; collaborate closely with Developers to ensure timely resolution
- Support release validation to ensure product quality and system stability
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, and QC team members throughout the development lifecycle - Participate in requirement discussions and provide testing feedback when applicable
- Report testing progress, quality status, and risks to the team leader or supervisor
Required qualifications & Core competencies
- University graduates
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a QC/QA Engineer
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices in Agile/Scrum environments
- Practical experience using Jira (or equivalent tools) for bug tracking and test management
- Experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android) is a strong advantage
- Experience with Confluence
- Strong defect reporting skills with:
- Clear reproduction steps
- Expected vs. actual results
- Supporting evidence (screenshots, videos, logs)
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and logical thinking
- Proactive, self-motivated, and responsible with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Additional requirements
- Basic knowledge of API testing and databases
- Familiarity with testing tools or methodologies beyond manual testing
- Strong willingness to learn and grow toward automation testing and other non-functional testing areas (performance, security, etc.)
