Job Description
Your role & responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and discovery workshops with customers.
- Analyze customer pain points and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Conduct user training and onboarding sessions.
- Support UAT planning, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers during implementation phases.
Product & Delivery Support:
- Write and maintain functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with the Product Development Team to clarify requirements and prioritize enhancements.
- Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage aligns with business expectations.
- Identify areas of improvement in product usability and recommend enhancements based on customer feedback.
- Act as advanced support agent to support Customer Support team to resolve escalated technical issues.
Internal Process Improvement:
- Help design and optimize internal business processes related to project delivery and support.
- Contribute to improving delivery templates, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing.
- Support internal initiatives for better cross-functional collaboration.
Your skills & qualifications
- The ability to work in the evening or early morning based on the project
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment. In the absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
- Experience or a strong interest in prompt engineering and designing effective interactions with Generative AI models is a major plus.
- An awareness of the ethical implications and risks associated with using third-party AI services (e.g., data privacy, output reliability, bias) and how to mitigate them in product design.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to dissect complex customer needs and translate them into actionable roadmaps for successful product development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Fluency in English is a must, with fluency in Japanese or German a valuable asset.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication, data-driven insights, and persuasive presentations.
- Experience with user story creation is highly desirable, allowing you to translate customer needs into actionable steps for the development team.
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus, but your eagerness to learn and adapt is paramount.
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, information technology, or equivalent experience
