Job Description

***JOB PURPOSE:

Lead and support the development of warehousing services by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Ensure that warehousing solutions are competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with the company’s logistics strategy.


***JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Strategic Development

• Assist in defining and implementing the long-term vision and strategy for warehousing services.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to position the company competitively.

• Support digital transformation and sustainable warehousing practices.

2. Business Growth & Partnerships

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in warehousing and distribution.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners.

• Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

• Drive initiatives to expand warehousing capacity and service offerings.

3. Operations & Solution Design

• Collaborate with operations teams to design and deliver tailored warehousing solutions.

• Ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

• Support the implementation of new projects and smooth handover to operations.

4. Financial & Performance Management

• Contribute to managing P&L for warehousing business units.

• Analyze cost structures, propose optimization measures, and ensure profitability.

• Establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics to track business growth and efficiency.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team for warehousing.

• Promote a culture of innovation, customer excellence, and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Sales) to ensure alignment.

6. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market analysis, and financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and legal requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

***JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in logistics/warehousing, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.

• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, distribution networks, and contract management.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Fluent in English; experience working with international partners is an advantage.

• High leadership capability, strategic thinking, and ability to drive business growth.
