Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
The Corporate English Trainer enhances employees’ English communication skills to support effective performance in a global work environment. The role involves designing and delivering tailored language training that strengthens speaking, listening, presentation skills and writing skills for daily business communication.
This role will be specifically aligned to the English Academy of Talent Learning Culture Team. However, assistance may be required in other parts of People & Culture Department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Training delivery
Deliver engaging, learner-centred English training sessions (online or onsite) for individuals and groups
Facilitate lessons focused on workplace communication: meetings, presentations, workplace conversations, email writing and cross-functional collaboration
Support learners in improving pronunciation, fluency, and confidence
Training design & development
Assess learners’ language proficiency and communication needs
Design customized training content based on job roles, departments, and business requirements
Develop learning materials, activities, and real-work scenarios to improve practical application
Coaching & support
Provide one-on-one coaching sessions for employees needing targeted support (e.g., presentations, interviews, leadership communication)
Give constructive feedback to help learners track progress and set learning goals
Learning progress and outcome management
Maintain training records, attendance, and learning progress reports
Collaborate with team leaders and stakeholders to align training outcomes with organizational goals
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend program improvements
Other supporting tasks
Run the English club, including planning themes, creating content, facilitating discussions, and driving participation
Support company-wide English activities, such as workshops, speaking contests and communication campaigns
Conduct speaking conpetency evaluations for for fresher recruitment programs
Support other P&C teams in reviewing and editing internal documents and English communications to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency
Perform other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification (preferred)
5 years of experience in corporate training or adult ESL teaching
Strong command of English (near-native proficiency)
Experience delivering training in multinational or tech environments is an advantage
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Ability to design engaging and practical training materials
Strong understanding of business communication and workplace culture
Adaptability to different learning styles and professional backgrounds
Good time management and organizational skills
Flexible hours to accommodate various teams’ schedules
