Embedded Software Engineer / Hardware Engineer

Job Description
STYL Solutions is expanding! We are looking for ambitious engineers to join our team. We are currently opening positions for either Hardware Design or Embedded Firmware Development. Whether you are a specialist in PCB design or a C/C++ wizard for MCUs, we have a place for your expertise in our smart payment and IoT projects.
1. For Hardware Engineer
- Design & Development: Analyze hardware requirements to define architecture; design and develop schematics and PCB layouts.
- Manufacturing: Generate Gerber files and prepare technical documentation; work directly with fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure manufacturability (DFM).
- Testing & Validation: Support prototype bring-up; define and plan test strategies/test cases; review and validate hardware test reports.
- Optimization: Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues; drive design optimization for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Leadership (for Senior candidates): Lead design verification and mentor junior engineers.
2. For Embedded Software Engineer
- Firmware Development: Develop and implement low-level firmware for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M3/M4) using C or C++.
- Protocols & Peripherals: Work with common communication standards such as USB, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.
- IoT & Payment: Design and develop software specifically for NFC reader payment and IoT applications.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct Unit Testing (Google Test, Unity, CppUTest), System Testing, and Delivery Testing.
- Documentation: Create Software Design documents, User Manuals, and Developer Guides.
- Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and multitasking.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
- Hardware track: Proficiency in HW design schematics, PCB layout, and HW testing.
- Embedded track: Solid programming in C/C++, knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS), and strong debugging skills.
- Languages: Good technical communication in English (both speaking and writing).
- Mindset: Proactive, able to take initiative, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in NFC/RFID protocols and standards.
- Knowledge of Cryptography.
- Candidates with diverse product development experience (IoT, Consumer Electronics) rather than niche domains (Automotive, Chip Design).
