Job Purpose:

As a DevOps Manager, you will oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure's
robustness, scalability, and security. Your role involves strategic planning, team leadership,
and ensuring that our technology framework aligns with the organization’s objectives. You
will be responsible for managing the infrastructure team in different locations, driving
innovative projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Infrastructure Planning
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance IT infrastructure.
• Align infrastructure initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Oversee infrastructure architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure team.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular performance
evaluations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Project and Task Management
• Oversee all infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Platform Engineering
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure platforms.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all platform services.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in platform engineering.
DevOps and Automation
• Champion DevOps principles to increase the ability to deliver applications and services
at high velocity, enhance reliability, and streamline workflows.
• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.

• Identify and lead automation initiatives to enhance system reliability and
performance.


IT Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Manage incident and problem resolution processes to maintain high uptime and
availability of all systems to maintain business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Manage the server room, ensuring the health and maintenance of network devices
and servers.
• Oversee all hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, and related assets.
Security and Compliance
• Ensure the security of IT infrastructure and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain and enhance ISO27001 certification through robust security policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure third-party solutions meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with
business goals.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

Budget Management:
• Prepare and manage the budget for IT infrastructure expenditures.
• Ensure optimal use of resources and cost-effective solutions.
• Capable of estimating infrastructure costs to support accurate project budgeting.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT infrastructure performance.
• Encourage and implement innovative solutions to business challenges.

Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven
track record in leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and automation tools
(e.g., Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS, M365, SaaS).
• Practical experience with ITIL management principles or equivalent processes /
frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and
ISO27001 standards.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
• Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving
change.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written form.
