ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will act as the key bridge between our UK-based clients and our development team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of web applications and SaaS products, facilitating clear communication across time zones, and driving continuous improvement in our delivery processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for UK-based clients, conducting daily stand-ups, status updates, and progress reviews via video calls, MS Teams, and email.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns and managing expectations.
  • Translate client requirements and business objectives into clear, actionable briefs for the development team.
  • Prepare and present regular delivery reports, risk assessments, and project health summaries to clients.

Project Delivery & Tracking

  • Own the delivery roadmap for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Monitor and track project progress daily; identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early, and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Manage scope changes effectively through structured change request processes.

Jira & Workflow Management

  • Manage and maintain Jira boards, including creating, prioritizing, and assigning tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure Jira workflows are up-to-date, tickets are accurately categorized, and sprint backlogs reflect the latest priorities.
  • Generate and analyze Jira reports (burndown charts, velocity, cycle time) to provide data-driven insights on team performance.
  • Continuously optimize Jira configurations and processes to improve team efficiency and transparency.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as the communication hub between the Development team and Product/Business teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and requirements.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs between design, development, QA, and deployment phases.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities before development begins.
  • Escalate critical issues and blockers promptly with clear context and proposed solutions.
Your Skills and Experience

Must-have

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) - IELTS 7.0+ or equivalent; able to lead meetings, write professional emails, and present confidently to native English-speaking clients.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role within a software development environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, sprint management, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical experience running sprints end-to-end.
  • Experience working directly with international clients, preferably UK or European markets.
  • Familiarity with web application development and/or SaaS product delivery lifecycle.

Nice-to-have

  • Certifications such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PMP, or SAFe.
  • Experience with Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration tools commonly used in distributed teams.
  • Technical background or understanding of web technologies (React, Node.js, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.).
  • Experience managing teams of 5–15 developers across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and quality assurance processes.
