About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines for our projects.

You will be responsible for setting up scalable data pipelines, designing database structures, and enabling reliable data workflows to support analytics and ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion systems from external APIs and internal sources.
• Build and maintain batch data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Design relational database schemas optimized for analytics and ML workflows.
• Establish data validation, quality control, and monitoring processes.
• Build deployment workflows for ML models into production pipelines.
• Support integration with event-driven or streaming systems when required.
• Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define best practices for data engineering within the team.

Your Skills and Experience

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in Data Engineering or backend data roles.
• Strong SQL and database design experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL or similar).
• Strong Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience building data pipelines from scratch.
• Experience working with APIs and structured/semi-structured data (JSON, CSV).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and data modeling principles.
• Experience with Docker and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills.
