Role Purpose
Enable the business to implement IT system changes and pursue opportunities securely by enforcing security policies and designing solutions that protect business value from risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Provide conceptual and logical security models and controls to ensure solutions align with risk appetite. Consult with business, project, and technical teams to address critical security concerns and influence senior stakeholders to incorporate security requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide security consultancy to business and project teams, ensuring proposed system changes meet security requirements.
• Analyze system flows to identify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities; recommend appropriate security controls.
• Collaborate with senior security architects on architectural decisions to ensure secure outcomes.
• Develop and maintain security control reference patterns and integration approaches.
• Manage risk and assurance requirements for designs that alter risk posture within agreed appetite.

Key Decisions

• Determine compliance with Group Information Risk Policy.
• Define appropriate security controls to mitigate risks.
• Recommend alternative solutions or compensating controls for technical deviations.

Your Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in the Technology industry.
• 3+ years in Information Security across domains such as Security Risk Management, GRC, Security Audit, Security Analysis, or Risk Consulting.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Security certifications preferred or commitment to pursue recognized certifications.
