Job Description
1. Role Overview
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end technology strategy of TNEX Digital Bank, ensuring strong alignment between technology capabilities and business growth—particularly in digital lending and financial services ecosystems.
This role requires a business-oriented technology leader with deep expertise in core banking systems, integration architecture, and scalable digital platforms.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Technology Strategy & Business Alignment
• Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with digital banking and lending objectives.
• Partner closely with Business, Risk, Product, and Operations teams to: Support lending product development, optimize credit lifecycle, enable scalable digital financial services.
• Translate business goals into technology architecture and platform capabilities.
2.2 Core Banking & Integration Ownership
• Lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of Core Banking systems (T24/ Mambu or equivalent).
• Own the end-to-end integration layer, including: API architecture, middleware / ESB, microservices ecosystem.
• Ensure seamless integration across: Lending systems, payment systems, third-party partners, internal digital platforms.
• Drive system scalability, performance, and flexibility to support rapid product rollout.
2.3 Digital Lending Enablement
• Enable lending platforms including loan origination, credit scoring, underwriting, disbursement and repayment.
• Work closely with Risk and Data teams to embed: decision engines, real-time processing and automation in lending flows.
• Ensure systems are designed to support high-volume, real-time digital lending operations.
2.4 Data Platform & Collaboration (Nice-to-have)
• Peer with Chief of Data to align data architecture and business needs.
• Support centralized data platform initiatives.
• Ensure systems support real-time, consistent and integrated data usage.
2.5 IT Operations & Infrastructure
• Ensure system performance, availability and security.
• Drive cloud-native architecture and infrastructure.
• Manage vendor ecosystem and partnerships.
2.6 Leadership & Transformation
• Build and lead high-performing tech teams.
• Drive agile ways of working and engineering culture.
• Act as advisor to CEO on technology strategy.
1. Background
• Vietnamese only, no expats
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/SE/ Computer Scientist, Economics, Banking, or Mathematics related
2. Experience
• 12+ years in technology leadership roles.
• Experience in fintech, digital banking or lending platforms.
3. Domain Expertise
• Strong understanding of lending and credit business.
• Ability to connect technology with business outcomes.
4. Core Banking & Integration
• Hands-on experience with T24, Mambu or similar systems.
• Strong experience in API and integration architecture.
5. Technical Knowledge
• Cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Microservices and distributed systems.
6. Leadership
• Strong strategic thinking with business-driven mindset
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across Tech, Product, Risk, and Business
• Strong execution capability in fast-scaling environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
