We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the development of Robo-Advisor, AI Assistant, and digital investment solutions for retail trading. This role works closely with business, compliance, product, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze data-driven investment logic, and design advisory and trading workflows.
The position reports to the Project Manager / Head of Business Technology and is well-suited for candidates with a strong logical mindset, an interest in data, models, and technology, and a desire to grow in AI-driven investment products.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements for Robo-Advisor, AI Assistant, and related digital investment features.
- Translate investment and trading concepts into clear business requirements, user stories, and use cases, and contribute to the analysis and design of relevant trading and investment workflows.
- Work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and product development teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented.
- Support Product Owner / Project Manager in defining priorities for the trading product backlog.
- Ensure requirements and solutions align with regulations from SSC (State Securities Commission of Vietnam) and relevant Stock Exchanges and follow internal compliance guidelines.
- Drive end-to-end delivery from requirement definition to UAT, production deployment, and post go-live support (hypercare) to ensure stable and compliant product releases.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback, and propose continuous improvements to enhance investment logic, user experience, and system effectiveness.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner working in finance, securities, banking, or fintech projects (preferably in trading/OMS).
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into structured requirements.
- Comfortable working with data, numbers, and models, especially in investment, trading, or decision-support contexts.
- Proficiency in business analysis and modeling tools (UML, BPMN, Visio, draw.io, or equivalent).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of core systems (Core Trading / Core Banking / Core Securities) is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of trading operations: equities, derivatives (futures, options, covered warrants), margin, and risk management is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with FIX Gateway / FIX Protocol or trading APIs.
- Experience in working with or delivering AI-driven products (e.g., trading bots, recommendation engines, predictive analytics, NLP-driven chatbots) is a plus.
- Experience working in or with companies in the Vietnamese banking, securities, or financial services sector.
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
