Assistant Chief Accountant

1. Financial Accounting & Closing

• Oversee full-set accounting (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets)

• Review journal entries and ensure accuracy of accounting records

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes

• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheet items

2. Inventory & Cost Accounting Oversight

• Supervise inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)

• Review inventory reconciliation and stock count results

• Oversee product costing (standard and actual costing) vs Export Pricing is true and fair

• Analyze production variances (materials, labor, overhead)

• Ensure proper cost allocation and inventory valuation

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with VAS

• Support preparation of management reports and cost analysis

• Assist in group reporting (e.g., IFRS packages if required)

• Provide insights on cost control and operational efficiency

4. Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Review and ensure timely submission of:

- VAT, CIT, PIT

• Support tax planning and compliance strategies

• Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits/inspections

5. Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

• Strengthen internal controls over financial and operational processes

• Monitor compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements

6. Audit Coordination

• Lead preparation for internal and external audits

• Review audit schedules and supporting documents

• Work closely with auditors to resolve issues

7. Team Supervision

• Supervise and guide accounting staff (AP, AR, inventory, etc.)

• Review team work and ensure accuracy and deadlines are met

• Support training and development of team members

8. Cash Flow & Budgeting

• Assist in cash flow monitoring and forecasting

• Support budgeting process and variance analysis

• Monitor cost vs budget and highlight key risks

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts, with strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.

• Good understanding of compliance requirements, including internal controls, audit processes, and regulatory standards.

• Knowledge of transfer pricing, inventory management and cash flow management.

• Independent, meticulous, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Well communication in Vietnamese (native) and English for reporting and communication with HQ.
